Life is Colorful
Even in the midst of a busy day, we can take a moment to see the beauty that surrounds us if we will take time to look. Individually or together, life is displayed in many colors and many forms.
To be thankful for the gift of sight and insight is a great way to spend our time as we pass through this journey we call life.
What are we chasing after? How are we spending our energy? Is there something we need to confess? Why do we continue to press forward when it seems like the road is going nowhere? Why? We are created to be creative. We all have a passion, a drive, a purpose that we are created to walk in. Many do not know what that means or what it looks like. That is why we need each other.
If we do not know why we are here, what we are created for, we may even believe we were not created, we are just here for the moment and then we are gone. Whatever the belief, whatever the passion, and the drive we have within, we have one thing in common, we need to be able to focus on the task at hand.
The reality is; if we chase two rabbits in the field, both will get away. In the same manner, if we are trying to pursue multiple passions at the same time, we may miss out on both. We need to ask ourselves, “What are we really aiming at”?
We need to simplify or eliminate every low priority as soon as we can so we can focus on that which we are created to accomplish. It is written, “For the person who has no focus there is no peace”. A jack of all trades and a master of none is a statement that is said many times.
Although I have a Masters in Psychology, and I truly desire to help those with a broken heart, I must be aware of the distractions, and do not chase after shiny objects. “There are people who want to be everywhere at once and they get nowhere.” Carl Sandberg
I do not want to keep chasing shiny objects or want to be everywhere at once. I have learned to accept my limitations as one who is created in the realm of a human being with all my faults. Therefore I have determined that this one thing I will do………As a Heart Mender Specialist I will continue to reach out to those who may desire my assistance.
